Sarah Palin Review
Most importantly though, Palin's full attention is on Alaska. With the recent ice/flooding in areas like Eagle, Palin personally visited and surveyed the damage. She is committed fully to the people of Alaska by being there in person to guide as their leader and support as one of them.

Another Sarah Palin Disaster
Here's the issue as reported by the Daily Beast:
[...]
His nomination was thrown into grave peril when his opponents presented evidence that he called homosexuals “degenerates,” leveled invective against an African-American student offended by a statue of a Klansman, vowed to undermine the sovereignty of Native American tribes, and allegedly defended men who rape their wives. According to two sources close to the confirmation hearings, Palin may ask Ross to withdraw before his appointment comes to a vote.
This time, the attack singles out her pick for attorney general, Wayne Anthony Ross. Mr. Ross is allegedly accused of advocating spousal rape by the Palin opposition and have new evidence (amazing how they surface just in time) claiming he stated: "If a guy can't rape his wife, who is he gonna rape?"
Interestingly enough, the new allegations and evidence all come from one source, Leah Burton, a veteran lobbyist on children’s issues and domestic violence advocate. In other words, a political activist who opposes Governor Palin. But wait, Burton claims there is other witnesses that can back her up but are too intimidated.
Here's another claim by Burton to develop a pattern of behavior and pin down Wayne Anthony Ross as a male chauvinistic sexist pig:
"...during a debate on the Equal Rights Amendment, “If a woman would keep her mouth shut, there wouldn’t be an issue with domestic violence.” Burton also maintained she has been in touch with “a number” of domestic-violence victims who witnessed Ross make “horrible” statements, but are too intimidated to speak out. “Alaska is a very small state and it’s terrifying for these victims to come forward because they’re afraid of retribution.”
Is Linda Beigel, Dan Fagan, and Jeanne Devon, to name a few of the Palin Take Down Team, afraid of another ambush by Fox News? You can't make this stuff up, they are the most politically devisive group of activists on the scene to take down their target -- Palin.
It never ceases to amaze me that the Sarah Palin take down effort can always sink to newer depths of slime and vitriol. Do they really expect fairminded Americans to believe their "October Surprise" nothing more than grasping at straws to undermine an appointment they disagree with. Why? What's the big threat by having an attorney general who leans ideologically with Palin? Their perception that WAR's appointment will be a gain for Palin. "Can't have that, it's bad for Alaska," they scream!
To them, the idea that Governor Palin would dare to appoint someone that may inevitably prove favorable to her administration is more than they can bare. The wolves are howling and they won't stop until caribou barbie is torn to pieces; political blood sport in the last frontier.

Obama: Arrogance, dismissive, and even derisive
Mr Obama offer of an olive branch to the Muslim world continues his effort to distance the new White House from the Bush years. In France he spoke of American "arrogance" and a "dismissive, even derisive" attitude towards Europe.
"Let me say this as clearly as I can: the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. In fact, our partnership with the Muslim world is critical in rolling back a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject."
Before the speech, Mr Obama stood next to Abdullah Gul, Turkey's president, and stated that in the US:
"We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In regards to Obama's last statement, what are the ideals and set of values that bind us? Are they Judeo-Christian values or Muslim?

Palins in the Crossfire
My colleagues Andy Barr and Jonathan Martin wrote recently that Sarah Palin's allies were expressing frustration at her staff for steering her toward tabloid engagement while skimping on substance.
Hard to find a better example than yesterday, in which she declined comment on Iowa's marriage ruling, but found time for this one:
"We're disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship," [[Palin family spokeswoman] Meghan Stapleton tells Usmagazine.com in a statement Friday.
"Bristol's focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence," Stapleton continues. "It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child."
ALSO: Colleagues note that the younger Palin has, in fact, been public in her skepticism of abstinence.
It must be Sarah Palin hunting season in Alaska and the lower 48, all her detractors are loaded up and aiming straight at the target, Governor Palin. The above article is one such example of the crossfire. Politico offered their contribution with snarkiness and biase galore; you'd think it was a post from an anti-Palin hater on the Huffington Post comment section. Palin found time to issue a statement on her daughter's behalf because it's her priority and responsibility to response. That's what a Momma Grizzly does, defend her young! It's a shame Politco found time for this hit piece.
First, snarky comment number one, "...her staff steering her toward tabloid engagement while skimping on substance." Politico thinks that Sarah Palin responding to an attack on her family is engaging in tabloid, but not worrying about repeating her unwavering position on marriage between a man and a woman is skimping on substance?
Now, Politico thinks that Palin's priority should be to address their request for a statement on the Iowar ruling and push aside defending her daughter's and family's good name. What type of journalistic attitude is this? If you don't answer our request than we will critcize you and take cheap shots. How old are these people? In case you haven't heard, Palin's above statement is in reference to Levi Johnston, her daughter, Bristol Palin's ex-fiance, will appear today on the Tyra Banks show to discuss his private life for the nation to gobble up. In a clip used to promote the sleazy tabloid style show, Tyra kept pushing Levi for some dirt on whether or not they practiced safe sex and if Governor Palin condoned it or not. Of course Levi, caught up in the lights, camera, and action quest for easy money and fame, made an assumption about the governor "knowing" that he and Bristol were having sex under her roof. When Tyra Banks asked for clarification, Levi said that "moms are pretty smart" and they know. It's unfortunate that this young man chose this path to earn a paycheck and sell-out his son's mother in the process. This is a no-win situation for Levi.
Then Politico took a shot at Bristol, distorting her position on abstinence. Here they imply ambivalence on Bristol's part by asserting "...younger Palin has, in fact, been public in her skepticism of abstinence." I don't know what they are smoking at Politico but any reasonable objective and sane human being can listen to the Greta interview and know without a doubt that the young Palin, Bristol, repeated over and over again this phrase: "It's best to wait; I wish I had waited; It's not glamerous at all; wait, wait, wait." As a matter of fact, the young Palin was very skeptical of teens engaging in sex before they are ready, hence, the reason why she empahsized, "WAIT" and her regret for not doing so. Which part of wait are you not getting, Politico?
Sure the young Palin admitted that abstinence among her peers was unrealistic, she was being honest about societal norms and attitude; but her honesty in no way shape or form equates dismissing abstinence as an ideal to strive for; she said it was difficult, not impossible. Getting straight A's for some kids may seem impossible, but it's something to still strive for. Politico's conclusion is the equivalent of saying most teens break the speed limit or underage drinking laws and therefore those laws are unrealistic.
It goes to show that teens know a right and wrong, they choose to do what most teens do, test the waters and often times, push the envelope. We've all been there and done that. And quite often, hindsight is always 20/20. But folks who have an agenda and jumping on the Take Palin Down Wagon cannot wait, their skepticism gets the best of them and they simply do not want to give Sarah Palin and her family an honest, benefit of the doubt! It's hunting season and the dogs are loose.

Andrew Sullivan Throws A Dirty Dish at Obama..
Folks this is serious stuff, Sullivan, an avowed Palin Hater has now turned the Dish...You get inside scoop before the final draft goes viral. Sullivan gives Obama more than a tongue lashing, finger wagging, Oh, no you don't...sermon on the state of dirty Chicago-styled politics. About time folks come to their senses, here we go...Btw--don't make a gay man take his earrings off.
Some readers think my continuing attempt to expose all the lies and flim-flam and bizarre behavior of Sarah Palin Obama is now moot. She's He is history - they argue. Move on. I think she he probably is history. Even Bill Kristol David Axelrod and his minions in the McCain-Palin campaign Soros Underground may not be able to resuscitate her his political viability now. But even if she he is history, she he is history that matters. {Don't forget, first black President} emphasis mine.
Let's be real in a way the national media seems incapable of: this person should never have been placed on a national ticket in a mature immature democracy. She He was incapable of running around town in Alaska Chicago competently.
The impulsive, unvetted selection of a total unknown, with no knowledge of or interest in the wider world, as a replacement president remains one of the most disturbing events in modern American history.
{here here}. That the press felt required to maintain a facade of normalcy for two months - and not to declare the whole thing a farce from start to finish - is a sign of their total loss of nerve. That the Palin Obama absurdity should follow the two-term presidency of another individual utterly out of his depth in national government is particularly troubling. 46 percent of Americans voted for the possibility of this blank slate as president because she he somehow echoed their own sense of religious religulous or cultural "identity". Until we figure out how this happened, we will not be able to prevent it from happening again. And we have to find a way to prevent this from recurring.
It happened because John McCain Bill Ayeres is an incompetent and a cynic and reckless beyond measure. To have picked someone he'd only met once before, without any serious vetting procedure, revealed McCain Obama as an utterly unserious character, a man whose devotion to the shallowest form of political gamesmanship trumped concern for his country's or his party's interest. We need a full accounting of the vetting process: who was responsible for this act of political malpractice? How could a veep pres not be vetted in any serious way? Why was she he not asked to withdraw as soon as the facts of her his massive ignorance and delusional psyche were revealed?
The Palin Obama nightmare also happened because a tiny faction of political professionals has far too much sway in the GOP Democratic and conservative progressive-socialist circles. This was Bill Kristol's Axelrod's achievement.
It was a final product of the now-exhausted strategy of fomenting fundamentalist secular-socialist progressivsim resentment to elect politicians dedicated to the defense of Israel Palestine (Hamas) and the extension cutting down of American military hegemony in every corner of the globe. Palin Obama was the reductio ad absurdum of this mindset: a mannequin candidate, easily controlled ideologically, deployed to fool and corral the resentful and the frightened, removed from serious scrutiny and sold on propaganda networks like a food product.
This deluded and delusional woman still doesn't understand what happened to her him; still has no self-awareness; and has never been forced to accept her his obvious limitations. She cannot keep even the most trivial story straight; she repeats untruths with a ferocity and calm that is reserved only to the clinically unhinged; she has the educational level of a high school drop-out; and regards ignorance as some kind of achievement. It is excruciating to watch her him- but more excruciating to watch those who feel obliged to defend her him.
Her candidacy His Presidency, in short, was indefensible. It remains indefensible. Until the mainstream media NBC, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, the GOP Washington D.C. Elite establishment, and the conservative Democratic-Liberal-Progressive-elite intelligentsia acknowledge the depth of their error, this blog will keep demanding basic accountability.
My point is not to persecute or hound some random person. I wish I had never heard of Sarah Palin Barrack Hussein Obama II, jr. I wish this nightmare had never happened. I wish totally innocent by-standers, like Bristol Palin Michelle and Malia Levi Johnston and Sasha Heather Bruce and pet Trig Palin, had not had their lives disrupted by this circus. It's distressing to everyone, which is why most journalists left many aspects of this charade alone. But Palin Obama is claiming vindication, is on every cable show, is at the National Governors Association Conference Tonight Show with Leno, and is touted as a future leader of the GOP World. There comes a point at which you have to simply call a time out and insist that this farce cease and some basic accountability and transparency be restored to the process. Since no one else seems willing to do so, the Dish will stay on the case. So where are those medical birth records anyway?

Take Sarah Palin Down...
The forces or Anti-Palin Axis are political, environmental, and ideological (extreme) pro-choice (individuals)and groups, with no tolerance for the Culture of Life to persist. All come together, united, and ready to attack, smear, and inundate Governor Palin with "whatever" they can unload from all sides. It's like clock-work, one after another, a charming new attack and frivolous allegations.
Why? It's complicated and yet simple. First, they do not like her political affiliation; Governor Palin is a strong committed conservative and ideologically opposite to their agenda. Second, Governor Palin is persistence in her beliefs and stance on the issues, naturally she must be broken.
Finally, Governor Palin is a strong voice and force of opposition. Her foe has seen and tasted what Governor Palin can do: she inspires people with the principles of God, family, and country. Not to say her opposition does not want that, they differ strongly in the how, why, and what.
Governor Palin's beliefs that Government should be limited and often times getting in the peoples' way opposes the belief in government is the Way. She wants the government to allow personal decisions of individuals and personal responsibility rather than legal mandates of moral decisions and a nanny state type government. It boils down to either power to the people or government as a centralize power.
Governor Palin trusts that Americans know best how to spend their hard earned dollars and make the best decisions impacting the lives of their children; like whether or not an underage teenager has the maturity to decide by herself to have an abortion. Thus Governor Palin stands firmly on the conviction that parental consent should be granted as a rule of law in the state of Alaska. I agree with the Governor that parents have the authority to guide their young daughters' moral decisions, not a remote government dictate. Afterall, who's there to pick up the pieces after the fact.
These and others issues have fueled the Take Sarah Palin down machine and they are on the prowl, almost kinda like aerial wolf hunting...their target is Palin. But, they forget that while the Target is Palin, they must take down the majority of Americans who are just as extreme and backward as the governor! Good Luck, when we are about to lose what is most dear and precious, that's when the real fight begin. It's On!

Sarah Supporters Say:
When it was recently announced that Governor Palin was billed with an estimated half a million dollars worth of legal fees over alleged ethics violation, her detractors begin to celebrate. Why? Because their goal is simply to bring Governor Sarah Palin down, at any cost; whether it's valid or not; whether it's rational or irrational, and whether it bears merit, legal or not. As the saying goes, the rush to destroy someone is your own stumbling block.
How can the contrived pain inflicted upon another human being become a cause of celebration for others? Or, do they simply choose to believe their crusade noble?
The short answer is this: the politics of fear and hate is irrational, at best. It has become a page turning political bloodsport for anyone following Governor Palin's political headlines, since she graced the national scene on August 29th, 2008. That was the day she was introduced to the nation as John McCain's historical VP pick, the first woman on the Republican presidential ticket. This day also served as the day that the spirit of bipartisanship died between Governor Palin and fellow Democrats back home in Alaska. The earth moved, and climate change was definitely man made. The party whistle blew and everyone scrambled to follow orders.
Is noted in a major newspaper column, after Governor Palin's RNC speech, a female Democrat activist was quoted, "This woman is TROUBLE." So the smack Sarah Palin down drama continued, even following her home, to Alaska. And they've recruited some locals along the way.
Let me ask this, have you known any political figure to have suffered this degree of turmoil and vitriol from their opposition? In the last several months following the election, Governor Palin is still warding off the attacks, one after another, they keep coming and growing ugly.
The Negative Sarah Palin Effect has taken a life of it's own, it is manifesting itself in drummed up ethics charges, protest against her wise decision not to accept earmarks, and pinning her down to pick between two pro-choice judges for the Alaska Supreme Court.
So far, ten ethics charges were filed, all alleging that Governor Palin has violated some ethical conduct while in the capacity of governor. Some of the charges have been investigated by Palin's attorney and dismissed, while others wait for their spotlight. And surely others keeping an eagle eye on the governor for any missteps; and the chance to pounce.
The most recent charge is from Democratic political activist, Linda Biegel, alleging Governor Palin violated yet another code of conduct by wearing a jacket with the logo and name of Arctic Cat, the company that sponsored Todd Palin in the Iron Dog race. Governor Palin was accused of being a "walking billboard."
Here's the specifics:
The complaint claims Governor Palin violated of AS39.52.120 of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act, Misuse of official position:
(A) A public officer may not use, or attempt to use, an official position for personal gain, and may not intentionally secure or grant unwarranted benefits or treatment for any person;
(3) use state time, property, equipment or other facilities to benefit personal or financial interests
As a result of this latest headliner, Fox News host, Glenn Beck ended his show recently with this challenge: "Bring It On." Further, Team Sarah activists are already planning and strategizing ways to support Governor Palin. They have formed a group specifically for the purpose of supporting Sarah pay for the alleged ethics charges. The hardest part right now for them is waiting for the public announcement. In the meantime, the group's goal to put aside money for Sarah, when the fund is announced, we'll be locked and loaded.
The bottom line is this, everyone sees this as a political hit job against Governor Palin, whether you like her or not, we can all agree this type of frivilous attack is childish and a waste of taxpayers' hard earned dollars. Ironically, the more Governor Palin is attacked the more support she continues to get. There's always a backlash to the mean spirited politics of fear and hate.

Why, We Already Have a Hypothetical Winner for 2012!
Despite the economic downturn, the polling industry is not hurting for business. Most recently, Public Policy Polling released their latest, the 2012 presidential winner. They polled 691 residents of Raleigh, N.C., in a hypothetical match-up between Obama and Palin for the White House come what may, 2012! As the title of the article alluded, Obama wins again, with a knock-out punch! Here’s a snippet of their findings:
Several post election polls have shown Sarah Palin as the Presidential nominee of choice for Republicans in 2012, but a new national survey from Public Policy. Polling suggests that such a contest would result in the largest popular vote blowout since George McGovern ran against Richard Nixon in 1972. Obama leads Palin 55-35 in the hypothetical contest. He has an 89-7 advantage amongDemocrats. Among Republican he trails 66-17. Last year exit polls showed Obamawinning only 9% of the Republican vote, so it appears Palin would lose a lot more voterswithin her party than McCain did.
Note, more Democrats were polled than Republicans, that can sometimes skew the results. Most importantly, do you think it’s a bit premature to weigh in and declare a hypothetical winner for a hypothetical presidential race? Especially since we just celebrated an historical inauguration a few months ago. Are we that much in a hurry to see the future and not focus on how this pans out?
Lately, much criticism has been fired at President Obama for what appears to be a continual campaign effort on his part. Let me explain. First, the town hall meetings, it appears that whenever a spending bill or a piece of legislation that may negatively affect his approval ratings is on the table, a promotional event takes place. It seems to be in the form of town hall meetings. And what's up with the teleprompter, don't you have it down by now? My take is this, if you have to hard sell ideas, perhaps they are not the right ones.
Next on the agenda, President Obama will be appearing on the Tonight Show, hosted by funny man, Jay Leno. No, it’s not because he is starring in a new summer block buster movie. So what’s there to promote? Money! Isn’t the forum usually reserved for Hollywood types promoting a movie or project? In other words, it’s fertile ground for breaking in to the movie and music industry. Not the usual decorum for a sitting president to appear. After that, President Obama plans to hold more town hall meetings in Los Angeles, California. No, I don’t think it’s a book signing or a party.
On another similar chord, President Obama recently made a public announcement, one in which he asked supporters to knock on neighboring doors and sell the benefits of his economic plans. Again, what is it that President Obama is trying to sell to the public, but has clearly failed to convey to the majority of tax-paying Americans? Maybe clarification of vision is in order. A simple question answered: What exactly are you selling to the American people? And, what is it that we are supposed to buy into? We are interested in change, but in what direction?
As you can imagine, when I came across this hypothetical poll for the 2012 presidential race, I began to wonder if the criticism raised by Obama’s seeming campaign mode may hold some validity. If so, can the President effectively perform his current duties as Chief and still run a campaign? My understanding is that he was able to do "it" in the Senate, while, keeping an eye on the highest office. But should he continue that same path? Can we transition from the hunting trail to the business of running the country effectively and well?

WE THE PEOPLE: We Surround You!
Despite the stigma of Friday the 13th, this most recent one, (yesterday) was particularly memorable and uplifting. A friend of mine, Sonja, invited me to the Glenn Beck event, "We Surround You" that was taking place across our nation, even in some places across the world. Not knowing fully what was in store, I trusted that if it was a conservative gathering, it was going to be something of great value.
In the Seattle area, we gathered at McCoy, a restaurant located on the corner of 2nd and Washington, in the heart of one of the most liberal areas, Pioneer Square. Events such as nude bike riding and protesting in your birthday suit, with a little paint as accessory, is not at all uncommon. At least not to the conservative owner of the restaurant, a spunky Irish gal named, Chrsytal. Her sister, Jan, organized the event and about twenty conservatives gathered to eat and view the Glenn Beck show.
The show introduced the 912 principles (9 principles and 12 values), it is listed on the website: http://www.the912project.com/. And, you can still get involved by looking for a "We Surround You" group in your local area. This project is sparking a flame of hope in the hearts and minds of Americans, bringing back to life the eternal beliefs and ideals of Freedom, Principle, and God as the ultimate heart and center of our purpose and being. If you don't think this project is catching on fire, good luck accessing the site, it's gone down a couple of times due to the overwhelming response.
The crux of the message is about community, and who we are as free individuals destined to live in the greatest country God has gifted to mankind. What is our responsibility and response to that gift? It challenges us to remember the rampant lackadaisical mentality before 9-11-01; and re-ignite the indomitable American spirit of the collective on 9-12-01. Then, we were blind to political affiliations and idealogies, Americans pulled together as one.
We recall that many faced unsurmountable challenges, and many more rose to the occasion by responding with even greater heroism at the cost of their own lives. They did not wait for the government to give the green light in order to act and save others. As a result, the change took place in America on 9-11 translated to the natural reaction of a people united on 9-12; and now we are being called to an even greater task, together. "We Surround You" is asking us to reaffirm our commitment and challenge ourselves and others to rise to the greatest challenge facing our generation: Our current government and its socialistic ideologies -- the antithesis of our existence as free people.
Our gathering was probably one of the smallest across the nation, places like Utah and Texas were jammed packed and overflowing, however, our humble beginning was an open window; a little fresh air is still fresh air. We all exchange emaill address to stay in touch and commit to future events. Further, the restaurant owner is very excited and willingly offered to host many more future conservative events. She even requested we bring any and all conservative-political material: postures, adverstisements and flyers to public display and hand out in her restaurant. Talk about taking a stand, this woman has her line drawn in the sand.
Already we have organized our group to attend the upcoming Tea Party (April 15th) and made tentative plans to host a viewing of Media Malpractice in her restaurant. It's about time we send out the message, as the majority of the people in this country, We Surround You! We will rejoin Glenn and the millions of Americans united in the spirit of "We the People" on September 12th to share and discuss how we fulfilled our commitment. Glenn is asking You to become the "We" for the people. Do you have a "We Surround You" story to share?

SarahPAC: Game On
With all the demand from the Dems and MSM for the real "GOP Leader" to emerge and lead the Republican Party out of exile, I wonder why they are not more concerned with their own game-plan to keep us out of financial ruin. In case it has not been noticed, the White House foundation is cracking and the roof is leaking.
I don't know about you, but I have my doubts as to who is really running the Democratic Party; and even worse, our country. Is it Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, or the notorious shadow, George Soros? Just a few names tossed around the political mire of leadership crisis.
Aside from the politics as usual, I see someone emerging to shape her own path and contribute to the success of her party. As a consequence of clear thinking, it translates into doing the right thing simply, cause it's the right thing to do.
Yeah, I maybe reasonably biased, but Governor Sarah Palin gives me plenty of solid reasons why. Announcing today through SarahPAC her potential plans to travel throughout the country is another winning example of how to lead without tooting your own horn. In others words, leadership in action.
For the doubting Thomases rolling your eyes, the line of thinking that "She's just positioning herself for 2012, looking for an opportunity" is not that unreasonable.
My response to that is ... AND?
What I praise and admire in Sarah's decision is, the choices and strategies employed. It shows a well-balanced vision, creativity, and focused goals. This is what I see in a leader, not waiting for the polls to determine your every move, not waiting for the experts to weigh in, and most importantly, listening to your instincts -- motivated by guiding principles that works for the people. I always suspected that Sarah Palin is really one of us.
Sarah, you go Girl, we are right there with ya!

Conservative Spending?
Well, I am sure there is more than meets the eye. I am trying to understand the balance between diplomacy and principle. The ideals of a government for the people and a government over the people. How do you reconcile the two without selling out the latter for the former?
For example, a hypothetical bill is on the table to fund the scientific study of fruit flies. The one-million dollar price tag is presented as a scientific opportunity to advance our human understanding of why fruit flies are attracted to fruits and its implications on current scientific theories and models, which will inevitably advance scientific discoveries and human comfort.
As a conservative servant of the public, faced with this dilemma, what is the right thing to do?
Do I say, "What a minute, one-million dollars, can we bring it down to only half-million?"
OR
Who and what is this study for; and why is it necessary?
OR
Why are tax-payers funding studies they did not signed up for? What is the government's role in funding earmarks and pet projects with hard earned tax dollars?
Why do we continue to spend money that is not ours and cash we do not have in the first place?
Are we out of our minds? We are spending our way out of debt by deepening us further into debt. Does it matter how much we spend when we should be evaluating the "WHY?"
What's your conservative approach to earmark spending?
Weighing In: Bloggers Vote for 2012...
The conservative blogoshere has weighed in and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska.) is the favorite to be the GOP’s 2012 presidential nominee.
That’s according to John Hawkins of RightWingNews.com’s (informal) poll of (only) 55 right wing bloggers. Here are the results:

According to Chris Buckley: You Maybe a Know Nothing Religious Extremist.
by Christopher Buckley
http://www.forbes.com/2009/03/06/rush-limbaugh-obama-opinions-contributors-christopher-buckley.html
What is it about confused Republicans, who love to twist the Sarah Palin attack knife? Did Sarah sign up to be the "elite" pinata and I missed the memo?
Well, here it is, while sharpening his knife blade, Buckley wrote "Our choice, last fall, was between an angry 73 year old with a legislative record far from consistently conservative, who nominated as his running mate a know-nothing religious extremist."
There's one thing I absolutely detest, the attacking of an individual without factual basis or just cause. The above comment is so disgraceful and so out of touch with reality that no one in their right mind finds it credible. Though I have a sneaky suspicion that the "Buckley" types join hand in this unending praise of Sarah Palin mocking; and insulting the common folks who value their faith and religious experience.
Which brings me to ask, how many out there are now--according to Buckley's definition "know-nothing religous extremist?" I am willing to bet that millions of us, the silent majority of Americans, fall into this category.
Buckley, shame on you for your crass and disrespectful comment to Governor Sarah Palin, labeling her as a "know-nothing religious extremist." Why such disdain toward a public servant of this country? One that has not ladened the back of this country with debt; and has done an outstanding job for her state. Love or hate her, give credit where it's due, that's common decency!
What is it about Sarah Palin that your type is allergic to; her values, faith or pedigree? Did she ever try to shove religion down your throat? Know this: You are insulting millions of "know-nothing religious extremist," myself included! We will continue to hold bitterly to our religion.
What is it that you hold to, if not God, what?
You, sir, are intellectually bankrupt and dishonest! To continue to hold false hope for Obama's audacity to destroy our economic principle and twist the Sarah Palin attack knife speaks the actions of a self-loathing coward! But then again, likes seek likes, touche!
It's a shame that all your Ivy League education made you Stupid!
Folks, let's stand with Sarah on this. She is one of us!
Smoke-screening us?
We are supposed to be in the crisis of all crisis and the media is more interested in the marathon vetting of the governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. The latest rah-rah is the governor's decision to appoint a pro-choice judge, Morgan Christen, a board member of Planned Parenthood in the mid-1990s to the Alaska State Supreme Court.
The need to uncover the motive, agenda, advantage, positioning, and benefit of this decision on the governor's potential presidential bid for 2012 far outweighs the MSM public obligation to report what and how Obama's decisions has negatively effected our economy. Not to mention all the other important challenges that face many of us, like the president's serial attacks on the Culture of Life!
Now you tell me, which should be our national priority right now: understanding the facts and truth of what is impacting us at the national level or trying to figure out Governor Palin's political motives for the appointment.
Just last week the media was entangled in what could have been a "pay per view" record breaking match between President Obama and Rush Limbaugh. How and why the President of the United States of America gets into personal tit for tat with private citizens is beyond me.
Either these distracting and distorted headlines serve as a the prototype for this current administration modus operandi or it's simply smoke-screen for their real agenda. And that's what many of us would like to know. What is really going on with the Obama agenda to gut and remodel America?
As much as I love to follow Governor Palin's every move, I am sure she will agree with me that watching Obama's every move is probably in the country's best interest at this time! After all, Governor Palin has proven to many of us that her words match her actions, but Mr. President, we are still waiting!

A Quick Rant!
Where does that leave us, the little people, the working class, moms and dads, who just want to earn an honest living and do the right thing?
If they have their way, the motley crew of Washington, it ain't gonna be much! I mean, who is going to support their habits, the lifestyle, the good deeds to the masses, a.k.a. entitlement? In their view, equality is this: everyone deserves to be equal, we all must pay for it, and those who are better of, they pick up the tab!
Welcome to the new American Dream...the irony is, no need to dream, just become a victim of circumstance, that alone is the reward! No need to earn, it shall be given unto thee! Who wins and benefits by all this?
I can imagine a nice welcome sign at the entrance of the White House: Welcome to the White House, please check your morals, values, integrity, character, and principles before you Enter! In Government We Trust! Oh, for a small fee, you can check it at the front desk if you are having a hard time letting it go at the door!
I must say there are the rare few in politics who were not politically groomed Chicago or DC style! Governor Bobby Jindal of LA and Sarah Palin of AK, have proven they are not of the political persuasion mentioned earlier; and as demonstrated by the current president and his peeps. So far, Palin and Jindal have proven that decision making is based on principle that serves the best interest of the people in their states. In other words, they have been leading models of what Public Servants ought to do, not mere rhetoric and White House razzle dazzle!

Is this how the game is played?
Our current political conditions and mainly the stock market is trying to scream at us, "Stop, Wrong Way." Are you noticing the downward-trend? Anyone checking their 401k and financial portfolio is definitely paying close attention! That's a start. But we must go beyond the pocket book, portfolio, and IRA, if we are to get to the bottom line of the bottom line.
Noted columnist, Charles Krauthhammer, a political diagnostician, outlined our current economic woes. He recently wrote this article for Real Clear Politics: "Deception at the Core of Obama's Plans." Krauthammer goes beneath the surface of pork and political staging to give us a deeper perspective of the root cause. According to Krauthammer, the culprit is "Deception." Krauthammer states, "Few undertake the kind of brazen deception at the heart of Obama's radically transformative economic plan, a rhetorical sleight of hand so smoothly offered that few noticed."
In my opinion, Krauthammer is spot on by calling foul on deception and shedding light on the leading cause of our economic and political upheaval. The continual corruption and deception that is being packaged as the formula and atidote! Though this is inherent in politics, never have we witness this type of grand scale "smooth operator" operation in our life-time. For example, the slogan "hope and change" can open the door to just about anything under the sun! It sounds good, feels good, who does not want to believe in those ideals. But we forgot to read the small print...we forgot to ask: hope for what; and, what exactly are we changing?
Krauthammer continued to pound away at one of the core theme of the Obama deception, the redemption of the masses: Obama smoothly belts out, "Day of reckoning has now arrived. And because it is only by understanding how we arrived at this moment that we'll be able to lift ourselves out of this predicament."
The Redeemer of the masses offers this package as the healing ministry for his economic experiment: "...universal, heavily nationalized health care; a cap-and-trade tax on energy; and a major federalization of education with universal access to college as the goal." I have one word for this, En-Title-Ment!
Krauthammer response by saying, "this is pure fantasy ... as a cure for rapidly growing joblessness, a massive destruction of wealth, a deepening worldwide recession, this is perhaps the greatest non sequitur ever foisted upon the American people."
Seriously, Has Obama taken the Wacko Jacko route to Never Land with this fantasy trip? It's either that, or--he thinks we are really, well, not all there!
Krauthammer concludes with a final analysis of Obama-politics: "Clever politics, but intellectually dishonest to the core. Health, education and energy -- worthy and weighty as they may be -- are not the cause of our financial collapse. And they are not the cure. The fraudulent claim that they are both cause and cure is the rhetorical device by which an ambitious president intends to enact the most radical agenda of social transformation seen in our lifetime."
How long do we have to wait for the cure? I Hope it is not too long before we see Change in the right direction.

Principle is Right!
We heard the pitch for "hope" and "change" during the Obama campaign. Right now, many of us are hoping and wishing that something changes! Are you noticing that things are getting worse not better? Is this change in the right direction? "Too early to tell," I am hearing. What was that? Let's give the Obama administration more time, another chance! Okay -- it's not like we really have a choice but go along. For the sake of the discussion, we are fair-minded and objectively bi-partisan, self-actualized Americans.
Though, I secretly feel this is political hostage with no where to run, no where to turn, because "Big Brother" holds the cards and playing their hand exactly as they wish! And that they are doing. No checks and balances in place, the majority party, the Democrats, can do whatever they like: Elections have consequences, and we are paying for it! Not to mention we do want hope and change, but is this what we bargained for?
Further, do we continue to believe that our economy will suddenly and miraculously heal itself when more pork and earmarks are injected into the system? Who benefits from that and what wealth does that create for the working class?
Do we continue to hold out that taking wealth from one social class and re-distributing it to another will somehow create jobs and resurrect our free falling-downward spiraling economy? If so, how?
How do we create jobs and wealth with the same amount of "cash-flow" just lining different pockets?
Do we really believe that the same government that cannot control it's parasitic growth, uncontrolled-spending, and addiction to pork is going to create and usher in a new era of entrepeneurship and ingenuity? And, whats up with Obama calling for an ethical summit after signing the spend-a-thon bill? Are you beginning to see a trend here?
Without the right principles in place to guide decisions that impact policy, we are spinning our wheels and hoping against hope! When we continue to elect politicians instead of public servants, we get what we vote for!
Until the American people realize that the conservative principle grounded in truth and moral soundness is the remedy against "Big Government," we will continue to dig ourselves into an abyss of hopelessness and aimless change. Big government breeds big spending ... Big government is addicted to power, bureacracy, and control to keep us under control; all that I just mentioned is inherent in big government, it is a necessary evil. It simply comes with the territory.
In contrast, we have another option, a different philosophy in leadership and principle! Governor Sarah Palin, a breath of fresh air, has a record of calling out her own party's corruption, challenging the status quo, and shaking up the ol' boys network.
Why is Governor Sarah Palin different? How do we know she's not just another politician? My short answer today is: She is one of us!
I will talk more about the rest soon!

It's got to be Principle!
Agreeably, we all have various reasons that attracts us to a candidate, however, for me, it must strike at the core, which is principle!
Why does principle matter? What is principle and how do we know which one works and makes sense?
The core principle that defines my political modus operandi is the Conservative model. The conservative principles of timeless truths that are also the foundational compass of this country is this: The belief that we are all created equal, endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights, and these God-given rights leads us to be free individuals in our pursuit of happiness.
This is why principle matters, policy without principle is more bureaucracy to further drown us in failed policies and regulations. Legislation without principle is to act out of political gains, serving special interests; and not the people, who are the heart-beat of our country!
How do we know which principle works and which does not?
First, we examine history, we look at our Constitution, we examine our conscience and the results of what happens when we are faithful to the truth and when we have abandoned our path for self-gaining profitable pastures!
What does this have to do with Governor Sarah Palin? My short answer is, Everything!

Why I want Sarah to run for President in 2012
Here's the bright side, we have an opportunity to take change in the right direction, if what we are seeing is an indication of what is left to unfold in the Obama administration, then I don't want to wait until 2010 before getting involved; and having my voice heard in the process.
So, I am ready to boldly endorse Governor Sarah Palin as my top choice for the GOP nominee for the President's job in 2012!
I have good reasons for supporting Governor Sarah Palin when she runs for President in 2012. But first, I would like to begin with the three main objective reasons why I would not support her or ANY candidate. It's my how to pick a winner for president segment!
1. Gender--As a woman, I would never vote for a candidate because we share chromosomes. It's either she is qualified or not, period. Same apply to men, they are either experience and can do the job ethically or; they need to go.
2. Party affiliation--I have never been involved in politics, as a minority, my leanings has always been more in line with the Democrat's party ideal, helping the downtrodden, equality, etc. All noble ideals and worth fighting for, but party affiliation alone does not suffice.
3. Race--It's ideal to be able to relate and identify with a candidate on the basis of race/ethnicity but again, is that enough?
Given my three top reasons for political correctness, what is a girl to do?
To be continued...
